Georgette R. (Brink) ‘Trinket’ Carter
Georgette R. Brink ‘Trinket’ Carter, age 63, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her home with her husband and son at her side on Sunday, June 26, 2011.
She was born on Tuesday, October 7, 1947 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania the daughter of Robert Conroy and Ella (Ritter) Brink Conroy.
Georgette was a devoted member of Faith Assembly of God in Uniontown.
She was an active member of the Relay for Life and a breast cancer survivor.
She worked as a Secretary for Fayette County Children and Youth.
She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers and two sisters, Patricia Brink, Robert Brink, James Brink, Mary Brink Sumey and Arthur Brink.
She leaves behind her loving and dedicated husband of 38 years, Richard Carter; her loving and devoted son, Thomas Brink and his girl friend Christina Lee of Uniontown; six grandchildren: Bryan Brink and wife Mary Beth, Brett Brink and his girl friend, Samantha Osler, Brooke Brink, Jacob Show, Ella Brink and Robert Brink; one great grandson, Cael Brink and a second one expected in September; two brothers and two sisters: Daniel Brink and Joyce Leckemby both of O u t c r o p, Pennsylvania, Russell Brink and wife Jamie of Uniontown, Nancy Bucci and her husband Frank of Uniontown; also many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pennsylvania today, June 28, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Lamar officiating.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pennsylvania
