Clayton A. Thomas, age 84 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Uniontown Hospital.

Clayton was born in Leckrone, Pa. on July 13, 1928, the son of the late Aca A. and Sidna L. (Frazee) Thomas.

He worked at the McKeesport Plant for U.S. Steel for 31 years.

He is survived by his sisters: Ferne Petrucci of Uniontown and Bernadette Martin and her husband George of Manassas, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; cousins; special friends: Melissa Zitney and Sherry Tate and the Staff of Popovich Personal Care Home.

Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, March 4 from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time a service will be held with Pastor Elliott Leighty and Pastor Galen Winebrenner.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Clayton to the Church of God, 1089 Pittsburgh Rd., Uniontown, PA 15401.
