Roy Chiplaskey, Jr.
Roy Chiplaskey, Jr., age 79, of Grindstone, PA died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born on July 25, 1931 in Grindstone, PA, son of the late Roy Chiplaskey, Sr. and Mamie Falco Chiplaskey.
He was a member of the Teamster local 491.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Maruszewski Chipla-skey; two sons: Tim and wife, Lisa Chiplaskey of Uniontown, PA and Gary and wife, Lisa Chiplaskey of Uniontown, PA; three grandchildren, whom he cherished: Sarah, Adam and Matthew.
He was predeceased by a infant brother, Billy.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Saturday from 6 – 9 PM and Sunday 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 PM, where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Cecelia R.C. Church, Grindstone, PA with the Rev. Father James Petrovsky as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in the LaFayette Memorial Park.
A Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 2 PM in the funeral home.
