1 min read

Uniontown police said an Adah woman remained hospitalized today after she was struck and dragged by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

Capt. David J. Rutter said Marsha Everly, 23, was trying to cross Connellsville Street from between vehicles parked in the northbound lane near the Rite Aid Pharmacy when a sport-utility vehicle struck her in the southbound lane around 2:30 p.m.

Rutter said that after striking Everly, she was dragged underneath the vehicle 38 feet before the SUV came to a stop.
