Martin man jailed for alleged scuffle with police
A Martin man is behind bars after he was found hiding inside the home of a Masontown woman who has a protection-from-abuse order against him, police said.
Masontown police Chief Joe Ryan said Robert Anthony Durst II was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy S. Abraham with two counts of indirect criminal contempt for violating the protection-from-abuse order as well as single counts of burglary, terroristic threats and resisting arrest.
Ryan said the incident occurred Friday afternoon at a home in Masontown when the woman, who was not identified, returned to her residence and found Durst inside.
