Police search for missing Fayette County woman

State police are looking for a Fayette County woman who was last seen leaving her home Saturday.

Trooper Joseph Panepinto said Lisa Sue Johnson, 49, of Fayette City was last seen leaving her Connellsville Street residence around 8 p.m.

Police said the Johnson’s roommate reported her missing on Monday after becoming concerned when the woman did not return home for several days.

The unidentified roommate told police she believed Johnson was going out for the evening and had on a brown mid-length fur coat, a brown fur hat and black gloves when she left.

Police said Johnson left her house on foot. Her vehicle, keys, purse and cell phone were left at the residence, police said.

Police described Johnson as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and gray eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Johnson’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-929-6262.
