Vivian A. Broadwater, age 82, of California, Pa. passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in her home.

She was born October 1, 1928 in Charleroi, Pa., daughter of the late Harry and Ida Berg Schrading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Rollie Broadwater and a brother-in-law, William Kuzemka.

Vivian was a member of the United Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in California, Pa., she was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and her passion was decorative painting. She especially loved water colors. She was a retired State Nurse.

Surviving are a son, Larry E. Broadwater; her daughter-in-law, Deborah S. Broadwater; grandsons: Lee V. Broadwater and wife, Julie of Lutz, FL, Chad D. Broadwater of Uniontown, Pa. and a great-grand-son, Brandon Broadwater; nephews: Wesley, Billy, Scott, and many great-nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.

Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa.
