Nancy Lee Smoggie

Nancy Smoggie, 74, of (Braden Plan) Clarksville, died at her home, following a brief illness, Sunday, March 13, 2011.

She was born December 31, 1936 in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Gertrude Guesman.

In August 1957, she married George Smoggie, who survives.

Nancy worked at Brodak’s Video for 10 years.

Nancy was devoted to her family. She was an excellent homemaker, and enjoyed baking. She will be remembered for her delicious pastries, especially nutrolls.

She was an elegant lady whose genuine smile will be missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: George Allan (Michelle) Smoggie of Clarksville and Scott (Kim) Smoggie Rescue, California; a daughter, Beth Ann Santucci of Clarksville; seven grandchildren: Megan, Erica, George IV Smoggie, Athena, Chelsea Smoggie, Nicole Richmond and Alyssa Hager; two great-grandchildren: Isaac, and Tyler, who made his home with Nancy and George; three sisters: Paula Luzier of Clarksville, Linda Ewing of New York, Bobbie McCenry of Waynesburg; a brother, Donny Arnett of Waynesburg.

Deceased in addition to her parents, are sisters, Virginia Magnalotti, Roberta Gue and Janet Paroda.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, in FRANK BURKUS FUNERAL HOME, 26 Mill St., Millsboro, PA 15348, where services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with Father Francis Frazer officiating.

Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
