1 min read

The Fayette County Zoning Hearing Board on Wednesday elected officers for 2011.

In separate votes, Jim Burns was elected chairman, Neil Brown was elected vice chairman and Paul Bortz Sr. was elected secretary. Attorney Gretchen Mundorff was appointed as solicitor for the board and Vicki Maxwell and Nikki Blue were named as stenographers.

The zoning hearings are held on Wednesdays at the meeting room of the public safety building in Uniontown as advertised. The zoning hearing board makes decisions regarding items such as requests for special exceptions to the zoning ordinance and variances from lot sizes, as well as ruling on appeals to zoning violation citations.
