Dean Whitmarsh (left), of Fairchance, and Justin Kurta, also of Fairchance took time out of their day Thursday to untangle the American flag at the Fairchance post office that had been damaged by recent storms.  Whitmarsh used, from his personal collection, a 1954 American LaFrance 700 series eighty-five foot ladder truck, which Kurta climbed,  to reach the flag.  Afterwards, Whitmarsh and Kurta raised a new flag provided by the post office.
