Helen E. Spishock
Helen E. Spishock, age 92, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.
She was born on February 24, 1919 in New Salem, PA, daughter of the late Clement and Eva Mijol Gogola.
She was a former Christian Mother at St. Mary R.C. Church, Brownsville, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Spishock; son, John R. Spishock; brothers: Stanley, Frank, Andrew, John and Michael; sisters: Mary, Anna and Catherine.
She is survived by four children: Joseph Spishock of Downington, PA, Leonard Spishock of Smock, PA, Lawrence Spishock of Antioch, CA, Debra Forsythe of Perryopolis, PA; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9PM, where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as celebrant.
Interment will be held in the LaFayette Memorial Park.
A Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 3 PM.
