Fred Baranek
Fred Baranek, 82 years, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011 with his loving Family by his side.
Fred w a s b o r n o n Tuesday, May 22, 1928 in Haydentown, Fayette C o u n t y, Pennsylvania the son of Paul Baranek and Mary Zapotosky Baranek.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Fred for a longtime was the Manager of the A&P Store in Brownsville, Pennsylvania and most recently employed at the K-Mart Store in Uniontown until the time of his death.
He was a member of Saint Mary Nativity Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown and also attended the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church in Fairchance.
Fred was predeceased by his parents; and by his wife of 46 years, Ann Fabian Baranek.
Surviving are his two daughters: Sherry Ryan and her husband Timothy of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania and Terrie Baranek of Imperial, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Jordan Ryan, Christian Ryan and Connor Ryan; three sisters and a brother Pauline Lorence of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, M a r i a n n e Humbert of Morgantown, West Virginia, Kathryn Baranek, Smithfield, Pennsylvania, Paul Baranek and his wife Pat of Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pennsylvania on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 until 10:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, with the Reverend Father Andrew M. Kawecki as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in S a i n t J o s e p h Cemetery Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
Vigil Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday 8:45 p.m.
