Michael C. Parente
Michael C. Parente, age 77, of Severn, Maryland passed away Friday, March 18, 2011.
He was born on Thursday, February 15, 1934 in Sayre, Pennsylvania the beloved son of Anthony and Helen Parente, both now deceased.
He was a member of The Knights of Columbus in Maryland.
Michael retired from Union 1262 where he was a union organizer for 25 years.
Michael is survived by his wife, Irene Rubish Parente; two sons: Stephen Parente and James Parente both of Florida; two granddaughters; and three step-children: Andrea LaPierre and husband Robert of Severn, Maryland, Robert Hoholick of Texas and Joe Hoholick and his wife Jocelyn of Odenton, Maryland.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473 (724.736.4424) today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, with Reverend Father Bob Lubic as the Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Nicholas Cemetery, Perryopolis, Pennsylvania.
A Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home today.
