Alice L. (Rankin) Conway
Alice L. (Rankin) Conway, 84, of Martin, Fayette County, Pennsylvania died on Sunday March 20, 2011.
She was born on Thursday, October 7, 1926 in G r a y s Landing, Fayette C o u n t y, Pennsylvania.
Alice was a member of the Masontown Brethren Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Rankin and Annie Fisher Rankin; her husband, Roy W. Conway; the following children: an infant daughter, Pamela McClintock and Naomi Dancer; brothers, Bernard Rankin and John Rankin; and a g r a n d s o n, Steven E. Conway Sr.
Surviving are the following children: William E. Conway of Martin, Robert W. Conway, Hibbs, Pennsylvania, Denise E. Adams of Perryopolis, Pennsylvania and Patty Jo Chissell of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; a sister; Beatrice Martin of Martin, Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME, 220 South Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461 (724.583.7712) today from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, March 24, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Garry McFadden officiating.
Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery.
