Saturation detail produces arrests

working in conjunction with Uniontown police made four arrests,
confiscated drugs and recovered two stolen all-terrain vehicles
during a saturation detail in the Uniontown area Friday
night.

Charles R. Frey Jr. said the detail, which was one of many
conducted in the last year, saturated the Uniontown area with extra
police and law enforcement agents in an attempt curtail criminal
activity.

during the detail, at least 20 traffic citations were issued, 60
written warnings were given and four arrests were made.

warrants were served, two separate incidents yielded drug finds and
two stolen ATVs were recovered.

crucial intelligence was gathered regarding a recent string of
burglaries in the area,” Frey said.

said that in addition to state police and Uniontown police, state
parole agents and members of the Fayette County Drug Task Force
also participated in the detail.
