1 min read

One Uniontown man is in custody and another is being sought after police allege the men conspired to rape a woman early today.

Uniontown police Detective Donald M. Gmitter said Stephen Kirk Boatright II, 31, of Uniontown was charged before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with criminal conspiracy to commit rape, two counts of simple assault and terroristic threats.

Metros also issued a warrant for the arrest of Davon Lamar White, 30, of 277 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown on charges of rape, criminal conspiracy to commit rape and indecent assault.

Gmitter said the men were charged following an incident early Thursday that began when the alleged victim met Boatright at Sails Inn on North Gallatin Avenue.

The woman told police that Boatright bought her several shots at the bar and that White was also at the establishment and was talking with Boatright, Gmitter said.
