Fire damages Bullskin building

BULLSKIN TWP. — More than a dozen fire companies responded Monday to a fire at B&R Recycling located on Bellview Road.

?Firefighters were still at the fire scene at presstime, said Bullskin Township Volunteer Fire Co. Chief Joe Liska.

“We still haven’t been able to get into the building,” he said, adding that the cause of the fire has yet to be determined. “All I know is that there were a lot of bales of paper on fire.”

According to the 911 Emergency Call Center, in addition to Bullskin, other fire departments responding to the 3:38?p.m. fire included Everson, Connellsville Township, Morrell, Connellsville City, West Leisenring, South Connellsville, Dawson, DL&V, Scottdale, Mount Pleasant, East Huntingdon, Norvelt and Chestnut Ridge. Also responding were Fayette EMS, Fayette County Emergency Management Agency and state police.
