Governor Corbett was elected into office on the promise that he would not increase taxes. However, he has not kept that promise. By drastically reducing funding for schools he has forced communities accross the stae to raise their taxes. He may be able to live with that, but we cannot. In addition, he refuses to make the gas and oil drilling companies pay their fair share of taxes, allowing them to make millions while paying vitually nothing into our system and their heavy trucks are destroying our rodways costing the tax payers even more money. I think it is time for the people of this state to flood his office with calls demanding that he live up to his promise of not increasing our taxes by making everyone pay their fair share instead of having special interest groups. I know I don’t get any break on my taxes. If he made these changes in his policies he could truly keep his campaign promise of not raising taxes. If you agree with me then call or write his office and make your voice heard. He can’t ignore us if enough of us speak our mind.
