Tyler Daniel Gray
Tyler Daniel Gray, 20, of Hopwood, Pa. passed away Monday, March 28, 2011.
He was born February 10, 1991 at Mt. Pleasant, Pa., son of Daniel Charles Gray of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Ruth Ann Cummings of Hopwood.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandmother, Clara Cummings of Hopwood; paternal grandfather, Robert Daniel Gray and companion, Wanda Earong of Uniontown; special friend, Amber Whitacre of Uniontown; three uncles and two aunts: Michael Cummings and wife, Cheryl of Grove City, Ohio, Dale Cummings of Brownsville, Robert Cummings of Uniontown, Tana Hughes and husband, James of Bartow, Fla., Holly Green and husband, Matthew of Connellsville; the following cousins: Shawn Cummings and daughters, Chelsea and Jordan, Jeffrey Cummings, Jennifer Cummings and fiance, Braun Bocook and his daughter, Bayley all of Grove City, Ohio, Cara Cummings of Pittsburgh, Tana Lynn Cummings of Hopwood, Ashley Coville and fiance, Jeremy Stallnaker of McClellandtown, Joseph Cummings of Uniontown, Jacob Cummings of Uniontown, Michael Hughes of Bartow, Fla., Gabrielle Cummings of Uniontown and Coral Jordan of Uniontown; several great aunts and uncles and many friends.
He was preceded by his maternal grandfather, Michael B. Cummings, paternal grandmother, Mary Pauline Gray and cousin, Adam Jordan.
Tyler was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Laurel Highland High School Class of 2009, he was employed with GMS at Bailey Mine. He enjoyed hunting, dirt bikes, four wheeling and spending time with his family and friends.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood today 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday until 9:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak, V.F. Pastor as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Greenridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
Parish Wake Service will be held today at 3 p.m.
