Dilbert L. Ruffner, 53 of Masontown, Pa., passed away at home on October 31, 2011.

He was born in Latrobe, Pa. on February 10, 1958, the son of the late William L. and Mary Frances (Crawford) Ruffner.

Dilbert was a minister who enjoyed preaching the Word of God.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by wife Linda (Kapel) Ruffner, son James Robert Ruffner and step grandson Logan James Weakland.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Halbert) Ruffner; children: Todd Ruffner and fiancee Jessica Holly Ruffner and fiance’ Michael Tennant, Jeff Grubb and fiancee Melissa Cuppett, Christina Grubb and fiance’ James Weakland and Jonathan Grubb; 6 grandchildren; brothers: William Ruffner, John Ruffner and James Ruffner; sisters: Mary Kline and Barbara Fredrick.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Masontown, Pa. on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m., the Hour of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Dodson officiating.

Interment follows in Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery.
