The Carmichaels Area Women’s Civic Club has honored Cameron Grimes, a senior at Carmichaels Area High School, as a student of the month for October 2011.

The daughter of Andrew and Marlene Grimes of Carmichaels, she plans to attend Waynesburg University to major in physical therapy.

Grimes is involved in National Honor Society, senior standing committee, concert and marching bands, school newspaper, volleyball and softball.
