Lillian Berlinsky Cushma
Lillian Berlinsky Cushma, 94, of California, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 4, 2011 in her home with her twin daughters Marlene and Mary Elaine by her side.
Lillian was born Wednesday, July 25, 1917, in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of Thomas Berlinsky Sr. and Nellie (Durnak) Berlinsky.
Lillian will be remembered for her love of Jesus, her kindness and generosity, her love for her church and her family.
She was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mike Cushma; four brothers, Steven, William, Thomas Jr. and Theodore Berlinsky.
Left to cherish her memory are her twin daughters, Marlene and Mary Elaine Cushma: two sisters-in-law: Ann Berlinsky and Mildred Berlinsky; nieces and nephews Beverly Chipps, Stephanie Gentile, Stephen Berlinsky, Marilyn Berlinsky, Shelly Smith, Dolores Evans, Marcie Banda, Donald Rybar, and Fred Chipps Jr.
Friends will be received in the HOLY TRINITY RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Divine Liturgy will begin at 10 a.m. with Father Stephan Romanchak as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Phillipsburg Cemetery.
