Jack H. McFadden
Jack H. McFadden, 85, a longtime resident, Uniontown, died Monday Evening, November 7, 2011 in Uniontown Hospital, while being comforted by his loving family.
He was born in Fairchance, August 30, 1926 a son of the late Elmer and Almathea (Humphreys) McFadden.
Jack was a longtime and faithful member of Third Presbyterian Church, Uniontown, where he served as an Elder, Deacon and a member and past president of the church choir.
He was a Graduate of Fairchance High School Class of 1945 and an Honors graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Class of 1948. Jack served the Uniontown area as a Licensed Pennsylvania Funeral Director from 1951 to 1985 at the A.D. Ferguson Funeral Home, and also as Licensed Super-visor for the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. of Connellsville, from 1985 to 1996.
Jack was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp., 769th AAF BU serving during WWII. He was the recipient of the American Theater, Atlantic Pacific Theater and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbons, the Good Conduct medal, World War II Victory Ribbon and Occupation Medal (Japan) attaining the rank of Corporal.
Jack was a member of the Rotary International, both Uniontown and Connellsville, and served as a member of the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Committee. The IZAAK Walton League of Uniontown, a past board member of the Uniontown Lions Club and the Interfaith Care Givers Association, Board Of Directors.

Son: Kevin Scott McFadden and wife Beth of Cave Creek, Ariz., Kelley Sue King and her husband Thomas of State College, Pa., Kristy Suzan Over and husband Gary of Fairchance, Pa.; His Seven loving Grandchildren: Gary Lee Over and wife Danielle of Oaklahoma City, Okla., Bradley Thomas King of State College, Melissa Faye Pulice and husband Thomas of Uniontown. Kayla Suzanne Jensen and husband Mike of Colonial Heights, Va., Connor Stephen McFadden, Scott Kevin McFadden, Sean Daniel McFadden all of Cave Creek, Ariz.;His Two Great Grand-daughters: Twins, Isabella Reina and Alexandra Rose Pulice; His Nephew: Nikki McFadden and wife Virginia of West Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Jack will once again be reunited with his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Betty E. Gadd McFadden who died May 6, 2011 and Brother Richard McFadden.
Jack’s family will greet friends in the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 417 W. Pittsburgh St. Scottdale Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held Friday in the THIRD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 425 Union Street, Uniontown from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by his Funeral Service at 11 a.m., with his Pastor, the Rev. Chris Enoch, Officiating.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Smithfield, with full Military Honors accorded at the gravesite.
