Board agrees to narrow consolidation options
CONNELLSVILLE – The Connellsville Area School Board agreed Wednesday to trim the number of options under consideration by the panel to allow a long range plan to be developed.
In October the board received a feasibility study that offered six alternatives for review with a seventh option offered earlier this week by Dunbar resident George Stash.
Jon Detwiler, board president, explained that in order for administrators to provide cost saving figures the panel must delete the plans that are not feasible for the district.
