Acme man critical
An Acme man who was involved in a one-car accident on Friday was in critical condition in a Pittsburgh hospital on Monday.
Michael Aumer, 18, suffered major injuries after the 2001 Audi A4 he was driving struck a concrete wall along Route 711 at 11:30 p.m., state police said.
He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where his medical condition was listed as critical.
Police said the rear end of the car slid after Aumer failed to negotiate a left curve. The car left the road and the right front hit the wall. The car to spun counter clockwise and came to rest on a hillside about 22 feet from the point of impact, police said.
