Roberta Eicher
Roberta Eicher, 84, a lifelong resident of Mill Run, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the Rehab Nursing Center of Greater Pitt in Greensburg.
She was born September 7, 1927 in Mill Run, a daughter of the late Alfred D. and Edna M. (Dull) Bigam.
Roberta was a member of the Mill Run United Methodist Church. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family; her children Marvin Eicher and wife Joyce of Moon Twp. and Sharon Orndorff and husband Ray ‘Bugs’ of Mill Run; her grandchildren: Ray Orndorff and wife Kelli, Rob Orndorff and wife April, and Rich Orndorff and wife Jenny, all of Mill Run, Matt Eicher of Pittsburgh, Chris Eicher of Phillipsburg, N.J., Dave Eicher of Charlotte, N.C., and Melissa Eicher of Coraopolis; her great grandchildren: Alyssa, Derek, McKinley, Kennedy, Tanner, Mallory, Maggie, and Macey Orndorff, and Kevin Tabb, her brother Charles D. Bigam of Mill Run and her sister Naomi Eicher and husband R.W. of Mill Run.
In addition to her parents Roberta was predeceased by her husband Charles Dale Eicher on September 28, 1999.
Family and friends will be received today (Tuesday) from 4 to 9 p.m. in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, 724.628.1430. Additional viewing will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of a funeral service, in the MILL RUN U. M. CHURCH, with Rev. Rand C. Newill and Rev. Thomas Bonomo co-officiating.
