Sex offender charged for alleged sex crime
A convicted sex offender is facing charges after police allege he sexually assaulted two young girls in North Union Township in September.
State police Trooper Heather L. Clem said Joseph Michael Trifiro, 27, of 367 Main St., Lemont Furnace, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Wendy D. Dennis with indecent assault for the alleged incident that occurred between Sept. 20 and Sept. 22.
