Another burglary charge levied in Bear Rocks break-ins
For the fourth month in a row, police have filed additional charges against an Acme man accused of breaking into 10 homes in the Bear Rocks area of Bullskin Township earlier this year.
State police Trooper James A. Pierce said Daniel Henry Ward, 26, was charged today by Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr. with additional counts of burglary and theft for stealing items owned by Judy and Lee Weingerg from their residence on Rockpool Road.
Police have filed sporadic charges over the last few months against Ward, along with his alleged co-conspirator, Sommer L. Inks, 27, of Hibbs, as they continue to probe the rash of burglaries and thefts in the Bear Rocks area in June.
