Elderly Brownsville man attacked

A Brownsville man is behind bars after police allege he violently attacked an elderly man in Brownsville Nov. 15.

Brownsville police said John Godines, 35, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Dwight K. Shaner with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. 

According to police, Godines violently attacked John Eicholtz, 75, also of Brownsville, at a residence on High Street.
