John Wesley ‘Bud’ Kennison
John Wesley ‘Bud’ Kennison, 72 of Fairchance, Pa. died Monday, November 21, 2011.
He was born February 20, 1939 in Georges Township, Pa., son of the late Frank Kennison and Minnie Rebecca (Kingan) Kennison.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, David Hartman.
Surviving are his two daughters, Melinda Summers and husband Bill Summers, Smithfield, Pa. and Belinda Cobb and husband Dale “Tim” Cobb, Smithfield, Pa.; four grandchildren, Amanda Guthrie and husband Tim, Holly Inks and husband Dane, Caitlin Pryce and Jonathan Cobb; brother, Frank “June” Kennison and wife Mary, Uniontown, Pa.; sister, Norma Hartman and husband Don, Haydentown, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.
It was John’s request that there be no public viewing and services will be private for the family under the direction of the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa.
The family would like to especially thank the Amedisys Hospice Staff and all the family and friends who have helped John during his recent illness.
