Lottie Korchmar, 88 of Brownsville, Pa. (Centerville Borough) died Saturday, November 19, 2011 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla.

She was born April 16, 1923 in Ontario, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael Stotka, Sr. and Ann Repa Stotka.

Lottie was a 1941 graduate of Centerville High School.

Mrs. Korchmar was a longtime member of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown where she was a member and past-president of the Christian Mothers of the Church.

She enjoyed baking, sewing, playing bingo and traveling to Florida to spend time with her family.

Mrs. Korchmar will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a kind-hearted person willing to do anything for anyone. She was a truly wonderful woman both inside and out.

On October 27, 1945 she married Joseph E. Korchmar who died July 3, 2007.

Surviving are two children Maryann Siler (David) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Joseph M. Korchmar of Concord, N.C.; four grandchildren: Jason and Sean Korchmar both of Charlotte, N.C., Amanda and Justin Siler both of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers:Thomas Stotka (Henrietta) of Brook Park, Ohio and Leonard Stotka (Priscilla) of Aliquippa, Pa.; three sisters: Frances Krivan of Aliquippa, Pa., Josephine Acromite of Lincoln Park, Mich. and Genevieve Saflin (Joseph) of Brownsville, Pa.; and 52 nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are seven brothers: John, Walter, Edward, Michael, Jr., Victor, Joseph and William Stotka. Two nephews are also deceased.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank St. at Crawford Road Fredericktown, Pa. where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Michael Church of the St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown with Rev. Paul Grunebach as Celebrant. Entombment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park Brier Hill, Pa. A Parish Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
