A Cleveland, Ohio, man who was convicted of manslaughter about a decade ago, will stand trial for his alleged role in an altercation involving a gun on Oct. 23 in Uniontown.

Uniontown police Officer Ray Miller said Lamarr Kali Atchison, 37, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Jesse Cramer with illegal possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license and disorderly conduct.

Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros held all charges against Atchison for Fayette County Court following a preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon.

Miller said the incident occurred at 1:32 a.m., when police were summoned to a disturbance outside a nightclub on West Peter Street.
