Carmichaels Halloween parade Oct. 30

The annual Halloween parade sponsored by the Carmichaels Area Chamber of Commerce will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 30. Line up will start at 1:30 p.m. in the Yoskovich Funeral Home parking lot.

The parade will be led to the town square for judging by the Carmichaels Area High School band, under the direction of Jason Baily. The master of ceremonies will be Joe Cybak. Prizes will be awarded to age groups 0-5 and 6-12, in the various categories.

Treat-or-treat at Brodak’s Shop n Save will follow directly after the parade. Cumberland Township and Carmichaels Borough trick-or-treat will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m, after the parade.

Christmas Snowflakes are again available to the public at $385 each. Anyone interested in purchasing a snowflake in honor of or in memory of someone can contact Pam Whyel at 724-966-5073 or 724-966-5535.

The Salvation Army will be “Ringing the Bells” at the Shop N Save during the Christmas holiday season.
