Laurel Highlands candidates address cuts

This year’s cuts in state education funding hit school districts hard, with a need for some dramatic changes according to two of the three Laurel Highlands school director candidates who participated in the HeraldStandard.com forum.

Democratic candidate Lyn Andaloro and Republican candidate Ira Chrise said the financial cuts will be far-reaching. Jamie Miller-D’Andrea is less pessimistic.
