Elaine Stanzel Salava, age 77, of Royal, Chestnut Ridge, Pennsylvania dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother, g r e a t grandmother, sister and aunt, was granted her angel wings on Friday, October 7, 2011 at UPMC Mercy with her beloved family by her side.

Elaine’s friends and family are invited to share in her loving memory at the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 until 9:45 a.m. when brief Prayers will be said in the Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Smock, Pennsylvania with Reverend Father James F. Petrovsky as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Saint Hedwig Church Cemetery, Smock.

Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home this evening at 7 p.m.
