Grover Baird, 87 of Washington, D.C. and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Washington Hospice, Washington, D.C.

Grover was a WWII veteran serving his country in the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his son Donald Huff of Washington, D.C. and granddaughter Lajuan Huff; half sister Edith King; cousins: Melvin Henderson, Richard Henderson and Freeland Davis.

Visitation will be Friday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 E. Main Street, Uniontown, Pa. with funeral services at Noon.

Interment at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
