Polish priests announce pilgrimage plans

The Rev. Lawrence Hoppe, president of the Greensburg Fraternity of Polish Priests, announces St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Footedale is the site for the annual Pielgrzymka Wiary or Pilgrimage of Faith on Sunday, Oct. 23.

The event attracts pilgrims from the tri-county area, mainly Polish-Americans and newly arrived Poles. This year’s theme is “The Influence on the World of the Blessed John Paul II.”
