Uniontown police said they have secured a warrant for the arrest of  teenager accused of using a handgun to rob a Uniontown man Thursday.

Sgt. Wayne Brown said an adult arrest warrant has been issued for Isaac Farrell, 16, of 131 S. Grant St. on charges including robbery, terroristic threats, simple assault, receiving stolen property, theft and recklessly endangering another person.

Brown said the charges were filed after Farrell robbed Semori Wilson, 19, while he was sitting in his vehicle in Bailey Park at 12:08 a.m.

Brown said that Farrell approached Wilson’s vehicle and opened the driver’s side door as Farrell was seated inside. Farrell pointed a handgun at Wilson’s head and demanded money, Brown said.

Wilson told police that he gave Farrell $300 who then ordered him to get out of the car.

Brown said Wilson told investigators that he believed Farrell was going to shoot him, so he got out of the vehicle and hid behind another car.

Brown said Farrell then fired a single round into the air before getting into Wilson’s vehicle, a black 1996 Ford Thunderbird, and driving from the scene.

Officer Ray Miller recovered a shell casing from the scene that appeared to verify Wilson’s account, Brown said.

Police said Farrell is a black teen, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-430-2929.
