Former Waynesburg resident returning for book signing
Former Waynesburg resident Arlan Kinney will hold a book signing for his recently published book, “Background to War,” from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in Waynesburg.
The book signing is co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Waynesburg and Rhodes and Hammers Printing Inc. Kinney is a past president of the Rotary Club of Waynesburg. Those attending will have the opportunity to meet the author, purchase a book and have it signed. Complimentary wine and cheese will be served.
“Background to War” is Kinney’s memoir that highlights his experiences while serving in Vietnam and his recollections of his return to Vietnam 34 years later.
Hot Rod’s House of Bar-B-Que is located at 46 S. Morris St. The event is free and open to the public.
