Current and former supervisors seeking Connellsville Township positions

CONNELLSVILLE TWP. – A current and former official will square off for a six year seat on the board of supervisors in the Nov. 8 general election.

Supervisor Tom Cesario secured the Democratic ballot position over former Supervisor Donnie Hann in the May primary. However, because Hann garnered sufficient Republican write-in votes, the two will appear on the fall ballot.

Hann secured an available two-year seat on the supervisor’s board in the May primary, defeating now former Supervisor Rick Adobato.

However, recently appointed Supervisor Robert Leiberger, a Democrat, has announced that he will wage a write-in campaign to challenge Hann for the position.
