Zoning board approves rodeo request

Rodeos held to raise money for a local fire department can continue in Saltlick Township following approval Wednesday by the Fayette County Zoning Hearing Board.

The zoning board granted a special exception for a recreational facility on property zoned A-1, agricultural rural owned by Lisa J. Nicholson of Normalville.

Nicholson owns 54.2 acres on Imel Road and has held about three rodeos to benefit the Saltlick Township Volunteer Fire Department.
