Appreciation picnic for veterans Saturday

All Fayette County veterans are being invited to enjoy food, music and camaraderie at the second annual veterans appreciation picnic slated for Saturday in Storey Square in downtown Uniontown.

The event is held by Fayette County veterans affairs director Tod Conner and is supported by the Fayette County commissioners. The hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Read more in Wednesday’s newspaper.
