Fayette County man pleads guilty in Monongahela cold case

WASHINGTON – A Connellsville man today entered a guilty plea on charges of third degree homicide and criminal conspiracy in the disappearance of a Monongahela man nearly 10 years ago.

Christopher J. Myers, 43, entered the plea in connection with the death of Jerry Lee Cushey Jr., 0f Monongahela, who was 29 years old when he disappeared in October 2001.

According to Washington County District Attorney Steve Toprani, Myers has agreed to testify against a co-defendant, Ronald Michael Curran during a trial scheduled for next month.
