Ruth Ann Shultz
Ruth Ann Shultz, 71, of Gibbon Glade, PA, died Sunday, September 4, 2011, in her home with her family at her side.
The daughter of the late William and Mary Alice Conaway Henckel, she was born November 15, 1939, in Wharton Township, PA.
Ruth was a very loving, nurturing and kind person who also loved animals.
She is survived by two sons: Buddy Shultz of Gibbon Glade and Robert Shultz of Albany, NY; two daughters and their spouses: Vivian and Arthur Ziel of Brighton, CO and Alice and Larry Rishel of Farmington; two sisters: Betty Velickoff of Uniontown, PA, and Billie Livengood and her husband, Bill of Gibbon Glade; a son-in-law, Butch Bates; seven grandchildren: Travis and Lauren Rishel, Crystal Foreman, Ethan Bates and Daniel, Adam and Jennifer Ziel; three great-grand-children: Renee Ziel and Mercedes and Collin Rishel and several loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis C. Shultz and her daughter, Tracy Shultz Bates.
Family and friends may call at the CARL R. SPEAR FUNERAL HOME in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, today, September 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at the CANAAN CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN, Gibbon Glade, on Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., service with Pastor David Velickoff officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sansom Chapel, Farmington.
