Steven Joseph Haragos
Steven Joseph Haragos, 43, of Uniontown, Pa. died on September 6, 2011.
He was born July 13, 1968 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Stanley and Jean Martinosky Haragos.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Stanley and Jean Haragos; sister, Sandra Haragos and step-mother, Doris Jean McIntyre Haragos.
He attended the Abundant Life Church of Uniontown.
Steve was formerly employed with the Uniontown Hospital Police Department and currently was a Sergeant with the Perryopolis Police Department and a Fayette County Deputy Sheriff.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa DeBerry Haragos; daughter, Ashley Haragos, Uniontown, Pa.; step-daughter, Amanda Gibbs, Uniontown, Pa.; special grandson, Andrew Haragos; brothers: Robert Haragos and Stanley Haragos and wife, Janet; step-brother, Roger Jones and wife, Jill; father and mother-in-law, Calvin “Butch” and Marty DeBerry; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeffrey and Andria DeBerry and Erica and Dewayne McWilliams and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 10, 2011 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Nicholas Cook officiating.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
