Wounded Hopwood soldier making progress with support of friends and family
Hopwood native Patrick McIlvain has come a long way since being critically wounded in Afghanistan last year.
McIlvain spent weeks in a coma after being shot in the head, then underwent numerous surgeries. McIlvain this summer was able to spend some time with friends in his hometown.
