Five injured in Wharton Township crash

State police are investigating after a one-vehicle crash injured five people, three of them seriously.

According to police, the crash occurred at 10:53 p.m. Saturday on Hardy Boulevard.

Police said the vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a tree at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa in Farmington.

Three passengers were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., and two remain in critical condition, police said.

A fourth passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was treated at Uniontown Hospital. The driver also suffered a minor injury, according to police.

All of the occupants of the vehicle, including the driver, were juveniles.

Police said the crash remains under investigation.
