Florine Flick
Florine Flick, age 82 of Brownsville, Pa. died Friday, September 9, 2011 in UPMC – Mercy with her loving family by her side.
She was born on September 7, 1929 in Brownsville, Pa., Daughter of the late Louis Gordon and Mary Elizabeth (Klima) Gordon Gray.
She was a member of the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, Pa., Society of Catholic Women, Ladies Auxiliary of South Brownsville Vol. Fire Dept. and Brownsville Nurses Alumni.
She was active in St Vincent DePaul and Brownsville Food Banks.
Florine was predeceased by her husband Loyd ‘Tubby’ Flick and Step Brother Barry Cook.
She is survived by three Children: Gregory (Rick) Flick and wife Sharon of Hiller, Pa., Roxane McMaster and husband Ed of Richeyville, Pa., Brian Flick and wife Jackie of Salix, Pa.; 6 Grandchildren: Gregory Flick Jr. and Fiancé Kristian Stasko, Jennifer Jellots and husband Dino, Lisa Lynch and husband Brian, Danielle Robison and husband Will, Matthew Flick and Sarah Flick; 5 Great Grandchildren: Dakota Flick, Ryan Lynch, Christian Jellots, Allison Lynch and Malayna Robison; Brothers: Louis Gordon of Fairfield, Ohio, Richard Gordon of Brownsville, Pa., a Caring Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law Eugene and Martha Mae Flick.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, Pa. with the Rev. Fr. John Forbidussi as celebrant.
Interment St. Peter Churchyard. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Historic Church of St. Peter or Ladies Aux. of South Brownsville Vol. Fire Dept. A parish wake service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
