Joella H. Franchek
Joella H. Franchek, age 55 of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born September 14, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of ‘City’ Hammers and the late Johnny Hammers.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband William Franchek.
She is survived by three children: Richard Franchek and wife Tracy of Nemacolin, Paula Slagle and husband Scott of Hopwood and Bette Franchek of Smithfield; eight grandchildren; a brother David Hammers and his wife Judy of San Felipe, Mexico; three sisters: Gayle Post and her husband Terrance of Lewisburg, Ky., Sue Jubinville and her husband Bob of Greenville, Ky. and Paula Gregory and her husband Harold of Drakesboro, Ky.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m., the Hour of Service with Rufus Peer, pastor officiating.
Interment will be private for the family.
