Dolores M. (Kikta) Lowe, age 86, of Masontown, PA, died on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, McGraw Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Florida.

She was born on December 19, 1924 in Masontown, PA, daughter of John J. and Helen U. Kikta. Her parents, a sister, Elinor J. Leonelli and a brother, Robert J. Kikta, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, R. Stanton Lowe of Masontown, PA; her daughter, Susan L. Kunkle and husband, Gary of Florida; her son, R. Stanton Lowe, Jr. of Virginia; granddaughters: Lauren Kunkle and Kristen Kunkle; and a sister, Ruth Smoot.

The family will receive friends at the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., immediately followed by a Memorial Service, with Rev. Father John M. Butler Officiating.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
